The Malt House in Kilkenny
We purchased and refurbished the historic Malt House in Kilkenny City Centre a building that is now the Headquarters of Cartoon Saloon
Development of Office Units in IDA Business and Technology Park in Kilkenny
We acquired sites and developed buildings where both State Street and Banking 365 located their businesses in Kilkenny. The decision of these businesses to locate in Kilkenny was positively influenced by the availability of these buildings developed by KIDCo
We’ve built 8 top quality business units in Purcellsinch Business Park which provide important space for quality local businesses
Partnering with Carlow Institute of Technology and Kilkenny County Council we’re developing an innovative centre for design and creativity. This project is being funded by Enterprise Ireland.
The development of innovative education programmes is an essential ingredient for success and since our inception KIDCo has worked to promote the presence of a third level institution in Kilkenny.
For a number of years we’ve been working with the Business School at Kent State University on the development of a range of programmes and initiatives in conjunction with University College Cork which have brought MBA students from the United States to spend time with companies in Kilkenny.
Over the years we’ve worked closely to support some of Kilkenny’s most distinguished festivals including: Kilkenny Arts Festival, the Cat Laughs Comedy Festival and Kilkenomics.
For a number of years we’ve been working with the Fr McGrath Centre a community organisation in Kilkenny City on the development of a new purpose built community resort.
We also worked with the Thomastown River Community Trust in the development of the river as an active amenity in the town.
